Privacy Policy

The Insulin Fix Scanner (the "app") is operated by Wellingtonia Publishing LLC, 1309 Coffeen Avenue STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. For privacy questions, contact karl@fixyourinsulin.com. This policy explains what we collect when you use the app and how we handle it.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address, used to sign you in.
• Meal photos: the images you upload to be scored.
• Scan results and notes: your Insulin Fix Scores, the analysis returned, and any notes or optional health information (such as weight entries) you choose to add.
• Subscription data: your plan and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: basic, largely anonymous information about how the app is used.

How we use it

We use your data to provide the Insulin Fix Score, store your scan history and diary, process your subscription, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal data.

Service providers

We rely on the following processors to run the app:

• Anthropic: your uploaded meal photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to generate the score. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models.
• Supabase: authentication, database, and secure storage of your photos and scans.
• Stripe: subscription billing and payment processing.
• Vercel: application hosting.
• Kit and Google Analytics: email communications and aggregate, anonymous analytics, where applicable.

Health-related information

Some information you add (notes, weight, or glucose readings) may relate to your health. We treat it as sensitive and use it only to provide features you have chosen. The Insulin Fix Score is an educational estimate and is not medical advice.

Your rights

You can unsubscribe from emails at any time. Residents of the EEA, UK, and similar regions have rights to access, correct, delete, and port their data. To exercise any of these, or to request deletion of your account and data, email karl@fixyourinsulin.com.

Retention and security

We keep your data while your account is active and delete it on request. We use industry-standard safeguards, but no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed at anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy and will post changes here with a new effective date.
